CAP Youth Teams to Represent South Dakota in Regional Competition
Civil Air Patrol cadet competition teams from Sioux Falls and Rapid City will represent South Dakota in a regional Civil Air Patrol competition on April 9. The teams from Sioux Falls Composite Squadron and Rushmore Composite Squadron were first and second place, respectively, in the state-level competition held this past weekend in Pierre.
Pierre Civil Air Patrol Cadet C/TSgt Darion D. Osterkamp has received the NCO Citation and Medal Award from the Pierre Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8, in recognition of outstanding achievement and exceptional leadership ability.
