Rushmore Holds Open House
Rushmore Composite Squadron, Civil Air Patrol (CAP), held an open house Thursday, June 9. The open house was at the Pennington County 4H building at the Central States Fairgrounds. The event featured multiple booths, staffed by cadets, showing all aspects of the CAP program for visitors and people interested in membership, including cadets in different uniforms displaying aerospace, emergency services and aspects of the cadet program such as color guard. The goal was to allow visitors to experience a cross-section of what CAP does to promote recruiting.
