SDWG Members Promoted to Maj, Lt Col

Col. Michael Marek visited two South Dakota Wing squadrons on the same night to promote Tyler Gross (l), Big Sioux Composite Squadron, to Major, and Tom Anez (r), Sioux Falls Composite Squadron, to Lieutenant Colonel.

The mother of Maj. Gross and Col. Marek changed his rank insignia.  Lt. Col. Anez'a wife and son changed his rank insignia (with a little help from Col. Marek).

"It is always a pleasure to see CAP members rewarded for their hard work and service," said Marek. "All promotions are achievements worthy of our recognition and thanks, particularly those of higher ranks recognizing long-term excellent service."
