SDWG to Offer Squadron Command Course

South Dakota Wing is pleased to announce that we will be offering the Squadron Command Course (SCC) this fall. 

Squadron commanders who have not completed this requirement should take the course.  It is also beneficial for members who may be interested in serving as a squadron commander in the future (the terms of three current squadron commanders will be complete by the end of 2023). 

Topics addressed in the class include such things as the roles and responsibilities of the squadron commander, appointing and utilizing staff, command responsibility in finance, eServices for commanders, and the command partnership with the Cadet Advisory Council.

Classes will take place virtually, via Teams, every other Wednesday night, from 7:00-9:00 Central Time, starting October 5th.
