Rushmore Members Train as Drone Crew Members

CAP has 2,500 aUAS drones nationally. South Dakota Wing did the first-ever actual CAP SAR mission using a drone. The small drones also great for STEM and Aerospace Education.

Here, Col. Mike Beason conducts training for 4H members to show them the STEM and Aerospace Education opportunities available to CAP cadets. 

CAP is giving three classes a week to Black Hills 4H members interested in drones.
