Rapid City Christian High School Visits SDWG HQ

Rapid City Christian High School visited South Dakota Wing Headquarters Wednesday, October 27.  It was the school's Enrichment Day and students visited Rapid City Regional Airport, where the Civil Air Patrol state headquarters office is located.

Maj. John Spangler briefed the students about the opportunities that CAP has to offer in its youth program, called the CAP Cadet Program. He also gave them an eye opening demonstration of the wing's Aerospace Education wing tunnel. Lt. Col. Loyd Tracey also talked with them about membership and career opportunities. 

Several took information about CAP membership and said they would consider getting more information about joining.
