North Central Region Units Support Veteran's Day Events

North Central Region members and units participated in local community Memorial Day activities across the region!

Kansas Wing

Cadets from the Lawrence Composite Squadron participated in a local Veterans Day parade.

Minnesota Wing

A combined color guard from Ft. Snelling Cadet Squadron and St. Croix Composite Squadron posted the colors during the recent Minnesota Volunteer Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD) Conference.
The Viking Composite Squadron color guard was honored to post and retire the colors today at Covenant Living facility in honor of all Veterans. Viking Composite Squadron members also helped Grace Church in Eden Prairie, MN, salute their Veterans by handing out challenge coins.

Missouri Wing

Ft. Leonard Wood Composite Squadron participated in a local Veterans Day Parade!
Lake Ozark Regional Composite Squadron’s Cadet 2nd Lt. Nathan Groll supported the color guard at his school, School of the Osage, in Osage Beach, MO.
Cadets from the Platte Valley Composite Squadron presented the Colors at a Veterans Day observation at the Park Hill High School. And also presented the Colors at a Veterans Day observation service at the First Christian Church of Kearney in Kearney, MO.
Springfield Regional Composite Squadron participated in the Willard Veterans Parade in Willard, MO.
Table Rock Lake Composite Squadron provided color guards for the Navy Memorial Ceremony and Bell Tolling, the Combat Medics Reunion, and the Rose Petal Ceremony recognizing women veterans. They were also invited by the Branson Veterans Task Force to attend the Military Gala at Chateau on the Lake where they were able to hear a former POW from the U.S.S. Pueblo speak. And they participated in the Branson Veterans Parade.
Col. Travis Hoover Composite Squadron cadets provided a Color Guard for the annual Veterans Day Commemoration at a local church.

South Dakota Wing

Lincoln County Composite Squadron cadets posted and retired the colors at the 3rd annual Veterans Day event, held at the Crooks Veterans Park.
