Members Gather to Sharpen ES Skills
South Dakota Wing members gathered in Pierre and Sioux Falls this weekend to hone emergency services skills, both refreshing existing skills and accomplishing tasks need for additional ES specialties. Aircrews worked from Pierre and ground team training was based in Sioux Falls.
The event was one of a series of Emergency Services Academies, used by the wing to facilitate members expanding their skills. CAP training includes demonstrating a series of tasks required to be fully qualified for each ES specialty, such as the litter carry shown in the photograph.
