Ground Team Academy

South Dakota and North Dakota Civil Air Patrol members are sharpening their search and rescue skills under winter conditions in the Black Hills in the South Dakota Wing Winter Ground Team Academy.

Nineteen cadets and five senior members from South and North Dakota attended the South Dakota Wing’s basic ground team school July 22-24.

South Dakota Wing, Civil Air Patrol (CAP) will conduct a state-level training school from July 22 through July 24 at Farm Island State Recreation Area in Pierre, SD. It will focus on training CAP ground team members, including both youth and adult members of CAP.
