Cadets Join POW-MIA Ceremony
Cadet Color Guard Members from Lincoln County and Sioux Falls Composite Squadrons posted/retired the colors and presented the POW/MIA table at Veteran's Memorial Park, Sioux Falls, on National POW/MIA Day on September 15.
The Recognition Day was established in 1979 by a presidential proclamation. Each subsequent president has also designated the third Friday in September as National POW/MIA Recognition Day.
The CAP cadet color guard performed as part of the CAP core values of respect and volunteer service.
