1Lt Jacob Roth assumed command of Big Sioux Composite Squadron November 16 during a change of command ceremony at the squadron headquarters building in Brookings.
Big Sioux Composite Squadron held a squadron training exercise, organized by Cadet 1st Lieutenant Mitchell Trias. Members practiced Emergency Services skills and piloting sUAS (Drones) and completed training tasks for Ground Team qualifications. Training included a litter carry for a simulated injured person, direction-finding radio equipment, and sUAS drones.
