South Dakota Wing held its annual wing conference recently, concluding with an awards banquet recognizing members for excellence.

Five South Dakota Wing squadrons have earned the prestigious Squadron Aerospace Education Award from CAP’s National Headquarters.

The Civil Air Patrol (CAP) North Central Region has created an annual award named for Col. David Small, Jr., who died unexpectedly in December, 2021.

South Dakota Wing’s Col. Mary Donley and Lt. Col. Mark Huntington have received awards from outgoing CAP national commander Maj. Gen. Mark Smith.
